[Unnamed] Steelers Pregame Show - Super Bowl Outtake Reel...

I feel like I should say something meaningful, being that this is the last outtake reel of the season. But to be honest, I got nothing.

It's been a blast making this thing over the last four or five months, but I'm kind of ok with it taking a break for the off season. It may not look it, but this thing's a lot of work. Raw footage, at least the way we do things, can take a long time to sift through, just to find 10 or 20 seconds of usable footage. And you notice I said "usable," not "good." Then, there was putting all of those 10-20 second clips together, adding the "title screens," and publishing to YouTube (not to mention, troubleshooting any of their garbage).

Couple all that with having to write actual substantive (and I use that term loosely) posts, a full time job, law school at night, and whatever other shenangins I got into during that time, and you can see where I might be relieved to be done.

We tried to make this thing entertaining each week; both the show and outtake reel. Hopefully it was. I'd say that it was for sure, but frankly, I'm not one to tell anyone else what is and is not entertaining to THEM.

So anyways, here's the last of this season's [Unnamed] Steelers Pregame Show Outtake Reels.

[Unnamed] Steelers Pregame Show - Super Bowl Episode...

Congratulations guys. We made it to gameday without any significant physical or emotional injury (although, maybe I should wait until AFTER you watch the show to say that definitively).

That said, there's still a good six and a half hours until this thing kicks off. Plenty of time for a cardiac arrest. So if you need something to keep you preoccupied, besides the show of course, I'd refer to yesterday's Week In Review post. Highly recommended activity = "read up on how to get yourself out of quicksand." Because, let's be honest, you never know when you're going to stumble into some fierce quicksand...

Nervousness is reaching epic levels.

But at the same time, frankly, I, for one, am fired up!

Today's the 1st day of my spring semester. Which means, as you might imagine, I'm just God damned thrilled. Not.

Either way, I had a hectic day yesterday getting ready for all this nonsense. So I didn't have a chance to write anything meaningful...not that anything I ever write here is meaningful, but whatev.

Instead, I give you the Outtake Reel...a day late.

The good news is, the Steelers are still going to Super Bowl XLIII. So I figure this shouldn't much disturb things.

Try not to lose too many brain cells watching this.

PS - This is much more bearable in High Quality, when you watch it over at YouTube. So, you know, do that. If you want...?

Oh yeah, and you probably want to keep the volume at a moderately low level if you're at work or around impressionable young minds.

Show's rather long this week. Actually, could've been even longer, but I figured we'd probably lose y'all after three or four minutes anyhow, so I cut it down a little.

In other news, I've just about had it with HaterTube. They disabled the audio for the show immediately upon first upload because we're still using Cleveland Rocks. So, in order to enable y'all to hear the rest of the video, I had to cut it without the song. Just play the song along with it in your head.

Had enough beer last night to last me for a good two or three years. Good thing we brought the breathalyzer. A big thanks to Notgomu for making it out, and bestowing a sick Mean Joe shirt on me!

[Unnamed] Steelers Pregame Show - Post Season Episode 1 Outtake Reel...

Holy longest post title ever, Batman! We gotta rename this damn show.

Oh, speaking of the show, you may have noticed there's no audio for yesterday's episode. Apparently NOW, after months of making these damn things with the same intro, YouTube has flagged and disabled the audio because we use "Cleveland Rocks." Obviously this is warranted because we're completely screwing that legendary band, The Presidents of the United States of America out of money by performing our own version of the last 30 seconds of a song they wrote for the beginning of a TV show starring Drew Carey, on which it was played about 800,000 times. What a couple of assholes we are.

I hate big record labels almost as much as I hate Terrell Suggs. And that's a lot.

Attention PUSA's record label - WE DON'T MAKE SHIT OFF OF THIS, AND QUITE FRANKLY, I THINK OUR SCENE ACTUALLY MADE THE SONG BETTER! SO GET OFF OUR NUTS!

Anyways, we'll have to figure something out on that front for next week. But until then, enjoy the random sequence of ridiculous shit above. Oh, and in case you missed it yesterday, our adventures in widescreen are too much for my blogger template to comprehend. So I'd recommend watching this at YouTube, where you can actually see the whole set. OR you could watch the same nonsense that I've got here, over at PSaMP. Either way.

Survey says - Our brains are deteriorating faster than Usain Bolt runs. By next week, we may not even be speaking English, but rather some strange slurring nonsense that sounds like it could be English if there wasn't pea soup where our brains should be.

Either that, or I'm just talking to myself.

Ladies and gentlemen. Boys and girls. Children of all ages. In the immortal words of a wise man some asshole from Dallas - Get your popcorn ready! Here it is in all it's glory...The [Unnamed] Steelers Pregame Show - Episode 8.

It's a little longer this week, because for some unknown reason we tried to get serious and keep our A.D.D. to a minimum. But we think it's better, nonetheless. This week we covered - Willie Parker's life, Sansmokio's Excellent Adventure, Aaron Smith's beastliness, Anthony Smith's bitchiness, and of course, pulled Predictions completely out of our respective asses.

And as for the Outtake Reel, well, that's pretty much business as usual. This also appears to be a hair longer than normal, but that's because we interspersed clips of us playing 007 for N64. Getting in at 5:30 AM two nights in a row makes it pretty tough to have the energy to do anything except sit on the couch...which, of course, is basically all we do on the show...but, hey man, it's the bye week.
