OFTOT Week 6 In Review...

I'm not gonna lie to you, it's been a long week. Things around here were pretty quiet for the most part. Either you guys are all taking the week off from OFTOT, as you should, OR I'm just getting worse as the weeks go on. Smart money's on the latter, but I'm hoping it's just the former.

Anyhow, I did my thing despite the lack of conversation. I even kind of enjoyed being able to open this place up to some other topics besides just the Steelers (which clearly will always be the main focus). Sometimes you gotta just scratch that creative itch, if you know what I mean. A lot of scratching around here this week.

Not the kind of scratch I really need, but what can you do? I blame the stock market, personally. I mean, I don't own stock, I've never bothered to set up my 401k, and I don't own anything significant except a spacious and stylish 1997 Toyota Camry Sedan of Death and Destruction. But I figure somehow the financial services industry has screwed me. At least in the "stealing all the hot chicks" department.

If you've never lived here, or visited, New York is the capital of the universe for hot chicks who wanna marry a dude with money and do nothing for the rest of their lives. A noble goal, indeed. I'm trying to do the same, but in reverse. You know, find a chick with some coin and spend the majority of my days commenting on Deadspin, watching the Tyra Banks show and drinking strawberry lemonade.

So far things have been slow-going. But I'm still hopeful that someday, some girl's gonna come along and give me access to her enormous wealth, such that I can be the waste of life I really am at heart (and on this blog).
