I've had enough of the Wildcat formation, and it's only Week 7.
When Miami did it first, it was cute. When some other team, whose name escapes me did it, I thought, "wow, good for them." When the Browns did it last night, I threw up in my mouth a little.
Screw this formation and screw anyone else who decides to use it for the rest of the season.
Watch, now the Bengals will do it this Sunday. I'm a curse. It's a proven fact.

I hope everyone isn't going to talk about how scared they are of the Bungles all week...coz if yinz are...I'll just have to read Tobiathan's Dear Diary entry over and over again...
My take on the "Wildcat": When the RB gets the snap he's obv. gonna run with it, unless the QB is in there, I mean can they really expect the RB/WR to throw a decent sized throw everytime right? And when the QB is in there, he'll just toss it to him or something and then he'll just chuck it downfield (ala Miami). I just think it's a bit overrated and if that is ever used against us, we'll show it for what it really is.
I actually really enjoy watching this formation (maybe because I enjoy watching college offenses such as WVU, Florida, Illinois, ect.) I'm amazed that it has been working in the NFL.
I wish the Steelers used this type of creativity to keep defenses on their toes. I would be a hypocrite to say that I dont like trick plays....randle el anyone??
You calling me a hypocrite, fake Ronnie Brown?
I have a feeling we'll be seeing this a lot more in the next few years - seeing that the majority of college games I've have a running more often than he throws.
I think the supply of throwing qb's may be dwindling? Just my thoughts.
I see this working until some defender figures out that if the Quarterback is not lined up in the "Quarterback" position, you can hit him.
Thanks for the love, Christy. I'll take all the praise i can get, and then some!
And- when will our Stillers implement The Wildcat?
Cuz- ya know: everybody's doin' it!
