Music to My Ears...

I am happy to report, via AOL's NFL Blog (Post-Gazette, Tribune-Review, etc.), that the Steelers will be sticking with the 3-4 for at least one more year (and hopefully more).

Since Mike Tomlin took over as head coach, there has been a lot of speculation about whether or not the team would morph into the 4-3 (Tampa Cover 2) that Tomlin employed in Minnesota and in theory favors over the 3-4.

The first big move to keep the 3-4 came when Tomlin retained Dick LeBeau as Defensive Coordinator (a much heralded move as well). Nonetheless, glad to see we have confirmation that Tomlin subscribes to the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" philosophy.

A man after my own heart.

Cheers Mike!

Sincerely,
