The Refs Gave The Steelers The Game, Huh?

By now you've probably already heard the chorus of idiots putting the Steelers win (more like the Cardinals loss) on the referees. Whatever.

In response, I just want to point out this clear and convincing visual evidence of the refs missing Larry Fitz being out of bounds while trying to tackle Silverback. Good news is, IT. DIDN'T. MATTER.

Want some other shots? You got 'em...

By the way, I'm pretty sure the refs didn't make the Cards run into Mitch Berger.

Blaming the refs is a cop out. Find a new argument.

Anyways, I'm still working on my recap. It may not make it's way onto this site until the AM, but you never know. You'll just have to keep checking.

Try and contain your anticipation.

santonio used the ball as a prop in the endzone and the steelers were lucky the refs didnt penalize the steelers on the ensuing kickoff.

I'm sick of these hater fans. Did the refs do a great job? No, but that went both ways. Besides the Fitz no-call, they could have called holding on that Zona O-Line on literally every play of the game.

Also I don't know if I'm the only one, but did anyone else think the holding in the end zone call that gave the Cards a safety was highly suspect? I know why the refs called it, because it appeared Hartwig pulled down the Cardinal defender, but I thought it was much more a case of the Cardinal lineman knocking Hartwig down and falling on top of him when I saw the replay. That's not holding, that's just the Steelers having a crappy O-Line that gets bowled over.

The only reason Silverback didn't get MVP is b/c if he went to Disney he would scare the shit out of all the kids.

Seriously?

What the hell would the consequence have been for using the ball as a prop? It was after the touchdown so think about it...

ooooh... an extra few yards for "Ole Junk Shaver Picture Taker" to make the PAT?

Maybe on the kickoff?

JESUS... GIVE IT THE FUCK UP ALREADY PEOPLE... STEELERS WON FAIR AND SQUARE...

no go cry yourselves to sleep on your cock-shaped pillows!

The refs managed to catch Farrior with his helmet off in the field of play (for a penalty), but no call when Warner did it (on the fumble overrule). The whiners seem to be fine with every call in favor of the Cardinals.
