Alright, Here's The Deal...

So I'm already tired of people asking me what I'm going to change the name of this blog to if the Steelers win Super Bowl XLIII (including, but not limited to, my Mom). Hence, let me just say this now...

This blog will not be changing it's name anytime soon.

The way I see it, you don't start off putting rings on your thumb. In fact, it's the last appendage to get a ring, if I'm not mistaken. As far as I know, it goes - ring finger, index/middle finger, whichever between those two didn't get it the first time, then the pinky, THEN the thumb.

So even if the Steelers go on a tear and win not only Super Bowl XLIII but also the next four, this blog is not looking at the prospect of a name change until AT LEAST 2013.

If you disagree, well then, I'm sorry, but my blog, my rules.

VIVA ONE FOR THE OTHER THUMB!

Right on, man.

First of all... why change at all?

20th Century Fox is STILL 20th Century Fox!

Just give the site a porn name. And add some porn.

That's gotta to increase your readership. At the very least, it's gotta help more than the perpetual re-posting of half-naked Brady Quinn pictures.

yea, and what about the people with the deformities that have an extra 5 fingers.

yeah, the thumb was the last finger to get the ring on the first hand.

and agree on the more porn theme. quit writing about the steelers and just add hardcore porn everywhere.

3 votes for the porn.

I'll see what I can do about that porn. What are all your Moms doing tonight?

I'm not sure what my mom did last night, but I did yours.

Glad you're not trying to change it, judging by your naming prowess of the youtube it'd be "(Unnamed) Steelers Blog"

it wouldn't hurt to buy up a domain name or two to point to this one in the event they do win. maybe try to be the next catchphrase or something...

I always thought, and I still do that "One For The Other Thumb" IS the next catchphrase.
