We Need YOU...

Tecmo and I, that is, require your expert assistance in coming up with a title for our "pregame show" extravaganza and all you can eat, pot luck dinner (minus that last part).

We're trying to craft a name that somehow ties the 'Burgh to NYC, where we both currently reside/work.

So far the best ideas we've come up with are - Penn Station Square, One River Down, and The Big Apple-Flavored Ketchup.

...In other words, we really need your help.

So put your thinking caps on and ideate, friends! Free t-shirt to anyone who gives us a name we can use.

Write that down (because I'll forget).

3 Rivers x Square

get it? x square = Times Square, located in NYC?

Eh, maybe not...

I rather like Penn Station Square, actually.

If someone can connect the Strip District with NYC's great strippers, that could be good too. I'd think about it, but I don't care that much.

Dude, you read my mind!

That was one of the first things I said to Tec. And I thought, you know, maybe we could even get some strippers to do the intro for us...

Nice to know you're on my page, haha.

This is an early morning suggestion, and probably warrents being bitch slapped, but how about the "Iron Square"
Iron (City)= Pittsburgh
Square = you get the point.

In homage to Wayne's World:

Two Chimps on a Davenport in a Basement

bobby steels ~ Thanks for the idea! I'm quite partial to The Stripper District, myself. The name AND the implied location. I don't know if we're gonna go in that direction. But if we did, that'd be a solid choice. Cheers!

silky ~ The point? What, you mean that a square is a shape?

neal ~ Hahahahahaha. Thank you for finding a way to weave one of my favorite movies of all time into this! Maybe - "Two Silverbacks on a Najeh in a Basement?"

The square that I refer to is the epicenter of New York commercial life.

How about The Big Apple-Flavored Ketchup?

I tell ya, I'm ahead of my time.

Wait a second. Don't y'all live in New Jersey?

There've got to be plenty of jokes to be made there.

To be fair to tecmo, it is only I who lives among the deviants of the Garden State.

Hey guys try (New Burgh City)

How about, Steelers Armpit? Try it on for size.

You're a dick. Nobody mind the Eagles fan (silky).

PS - steelersyd - I actually really like that idea. We may have to take it into consideration. Thanks!

New Heinz City??? With special guest appearences by: Wesley Snipes, Ice-T, Mario Van Peebles, and Judd "F*#%ing Harsh" Nelson.

Tecmo - We're just trying to help.

Cotter - Sorry about the Armpit thing. You know

You could even use the theme song from New Jack City, with a little "Heinz" editing of course.
