Meeting Dinosaurs Is Easy...

Quick...no time to talk. Work dumped all over me. Friday. Meeting People Is Easy featuring...DINOSAURS!

Panel =
T-Rizzle - Tyrannosaurus Rex
Raptor-X - Velociraptor
Sparkles - Stegosaurus
B-Funk - Brontosaurus

Apologies for the seeming half-assedness. No time last night. Needed sleep. No time this morning. Too much work. Try and enjoy...

Have B-Funk call me, k? I love Carrie and I used to chug Boone's strawberry hill like it was about to be discontinued... He's, like, the dinosaur version of me!

You lived up to your promise of providing more dinosaur content. That was a good breakup of my boring day.

tecmo ~ Thank you for catching that reference. I was really hoping someone would. Awesome.

Dinosaurs?

OFTOT has officially jumped the shark.

Talkabout yer slow football-news days...lol

BTW- anybody but me think that a Steelers trade for Jason Taylor(Pittsburgh native) would be a good deal for a couple years of pass-rush goodness?

T-sizzle - i would love to have jason taylor....he plays in a 4-3 defensive scheme, the steelers would find a place for him though...whether its outside linebacker/defensive end (or run more 4-3 schemes)....i would be extremely happy if this happened. We definitely need depth on the d-line.

Of course, the other problem is - how would we pay him what he'd ask for?

I'm pretty sure all we have left at this point is some pocket lint and a bag of balls...although maybe the Rooneys can secure some more reality show spots for him...bet that'd work.

I think Taylor would be OK with a performance-based contract and a shot at being on a SB contender. We are only two years out from our last ring, and it kinda looks like we could make another run in the next couple years.

I think Jason's mom still lives in Pittsburgh too. He would be an excellent fit in a lot of our pass-coverage packages, and is highly uinderrated as a runner. Taylor is actually pretty fast in gameplay, enough so to cover the under routes inside. And his 6'6" frame could bat down a lot of balls.

To top it all off he's a class guy with great ethic. I think he'd be worth the effort of signing just for the leadership and influence on the young LBs and DEs on the team.

Not sure how we could fit him in either. But- i [think] incentive-laden performance contracts don't count against the cap. I'm pretty sure only gauranteed money counts against, but i could be wrong.

We will be needing at least one d-guy for the front seven, and a versatile, proven, athletic guy like Taylor would be perfect.

And cotter: what is this i hear about you tellin' some dude about your "thing"??

peace out, home-slices!
