Jeff Reed: G-L-A-M-O-R-OUS...

If you read this blog with any kind of regularity, you'll remember I recently reported on a Pittsburgh anomaly, Steelers Style 2007, the Steelers fashion show. Yep, no need to read that again, a Steelers. fashion. show.

Now, I, like you, just kind of assumed that the rest would write itself. But, I gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it exceeded all expectations thanks to one Jeffrey Montgomery Reed, place kicker extraordinaire, purveyor of fine hairstyles, and all around ladies-man.

Fully grasping the gravity of raising funds for charity (transplants and cancer no less), Reed started things off as one could only expect him to -- by blasting Fergie's "Glamorous" and strutting out like he'd already seen the inside of at least half a case of Iron City beer bottles.

Said the quote-unquote perrenial favorite of his masculine choice in tunes -

"People would think I would come out to a more manly song, but it is fun...I knew the words so I could dance to it...It’s a charity event where you can go out and show people your personality out of your uniform. By the choice of songs people know what kind of personality you have. I change my song up every year. It’s one of those things where you want to surprise people, but you don’t want to look like a fool.”
First, let me say that after all I've seen of Jeff Reed and his extracurriculars on this here world wide of web, I don't think he could make himself look like a fool at a Steelers fashion show if he tried. Second, what exactly does "Glamorous" say about one's personality? Third, did he just admit he knows the words to that shit?

Anyways, lest I prolong the inevitable any longer - check out Jeff Reed in his element, fully entertaining the Pittsburgh crowd:

What's up girl, like my dew-rag?

Hey, lay off my Hypnotiq, Santonio!

What would Richard Simmons do?

Read about it the event, minus my making light of what was probably a really nice event:
