Just look at those Offensive numbers. Emphasis on OFFENSIVE!
Of course, just like the whole beating a team three times in a season thing, this is kind of hocus-pocus too. Well, not kind of, it IS. But I'm not going to split heirs.
Really, though, we aren't/weren't that far behind in points, total yards and rushing yards. And at least we had more passing yards. Still, I'm sure that won't stop everyone from continuing to proclaim Joe Flacco's potential greatness. Not that he isn't or won't be great. That I cannot really say. And it is tough to really say anything, when a handful of years ago, Ben was in a similar position.
Let me just say this, and it has no bearing on the game whatsoever, but I watched Flacco play his last game at Delaware, for the I-AA Championship against Appalaichan State, in a hostile stadium, and it wasn't exactly a legendary performance. I don't remember it being awful, of course. And it WAS a I-AA game with I-AA, and not NFL, talent. But still...
Either way, Rod Woodson has picked the Steelers over one of his other former teams, the Black Death Avian Flu Ravens. So we've got that going for us...which is nice. I wonder when Merrill Hoge is going to follow suit? Merrill Hedge?
Last thing - go here and look at #9 out of 10. The visual alone is worth it. #1 is pretty funny too. Go Eagles.
