"Yeah, I wrote a children's boooook. Who hasn't? I mean, kid's can barely read as it is. How hard could it be to write for them?"If you've followed OFTOT for any extended period of time, you may have noticed references to Strong Bad Emails from Homestarrunner.com. Well, these were a big part of my college experience and if/when I find places to repurpose humor from them, I absolutely will.
- Strong Bad
This just happens to be one of those times.
See, one of my favorite Strong Bad Emails of all time was the one where Strong Bad talked about how he "wrote a Children's book." This quality programming featured such gems as...
"Some people wears glasses. Beth looks like a dude."So as I've done before and will no doubt do again, I've adapted this concept with Steelers related content. Below you'll find MY Children's book, complete with plenty of wisdom and an intense amount Photoshop work.
"Some people have braces. Some people have headgear. Fran could play linebacker for the Raiders," and
"Everyone is different. No two people are not on fire."
I hope you enjoy.
School is Cool - A Pittsburgh Steelers Tale
So, guys. What'd you think? I feel like this could be a great teaching tool for America's youth. Domski, you think we could build this into your curriculum for this year?
No really, what'd you guys think?
Oh and by the way, it's nice to know that when you google "Tommy Maddox," the picture in the top left sidebar of this blog titled, "The Mark of Excellence" shows up.
That doesn't seem right, does it?
