Pork Chops and Alexauce...

Ok, so maybe my headline doesn't quite work, but what are you gonna do? (was a play on Pork Chops and Apple Sauce)

Piggybacking on my last post, it was reported this morning in the Post-Gazette that the Steelers visited with two free agent candidates today -- one half-way decent, one unknown(to me) - Floyd "Pork Chop" Womack and Alex Bannister.

Womack, a beefy 330-pound Offensive Lineman (piece of man meat) from the Seattle Seahawks could be a great addition to our less than stellar right side and can play any position on the line except Center (damn!)

Bannister is a 6'5" wide receiver, most recently with the Baltimore Ravens who only played in two games last season and did not catch a pass in either (although the Post-Gazette reports he made the pro bowl in 2003 as a Special Teamer).

That's all for now folks...more as it develops.
