Not a great opening drive. And i'm kinda worried about this two-headed running-monster Jax has. I don't remember who we took last year in that round but i wanted Jones-Drew for us. Maybe he wouldn't have been a great fit though...
I think we should pick up Matt Jones in free agency. I think he's free after this year.
I like this weather for football though...

I hate that "stay in the pocket no matter what, run as last resort" policy. A QB should take ANY yards he sees. Sure, it's a risk of injury but so is getting slammed to the ground on a sack.

Jax D-line is tough. They have been for years. But that ain't an excuse; the Steeler offense needs to get something going. The short-pass game DEFINITELY looks ike an obviously good choice here. Why wouldn't it seem more obvious to BA?
Pittsburgh's done a decent job of adjusting in the second half for most of the season. From what i've seen so far i'd say we could dominate the second half of the game if we get ANY kind of passing game on.
Hopefully we'll see some of that fortitude this half...
And hopefully we don't see anymore bad/no-calls on our beloved Zebras...

this is denver all over although jags have a better run d obviously fwp was moving the ball. yet we didnt run the ball in the first half and most importantly on the drive in the 2nd quarter when the steelers got the ball with 7 minutes remaining. winning 7-3 that was a classic time to use the time killing run
so we lost?
that sucks.
but, we do have the tie-breaker over the Browns, and the next couple games are very winnable. coming off back-to-back losses might make our guys play harder too. they need to. too many mistakes last couple weeks.
guess i'm glad i didn't have to watch it...
