Great news, Big Ben made a big splash last night as he ended practice by gunning 3 touchdown passes to Cedric Wilson, Heath Miller and Nate Washington respectively.

Though he also almost threw one away to Anthony Smith, but Smith dropped Ben's bullet in the end zone...which he better not do during the regular season if he has any hopes of earning a starting spot or even significant playing time.

Speaking of the Great One - I just want to point out that in this week's issue of Sports Illustrated (PS - there's actually still some really good stuff in this magazine), Bart Scott in talking about the hit he put on Big Ben during last years drubbing, notes that Big Ben is actually bigger than he is. Yeah, we know BIG Ben is not just a clever name, but it's interesting to put into perspective now and then. Big Ben bigger than a linebacker. Yet another reason we love him.
