BTW- Just read Hines'...I done mah paht, partner....<BR/><BR/> BTW-<BR/><BR/> Just read Hines' statement about not wanting Ben to have to make plays out of the pocket on Post-Gazette.com. <BR/><BR/> In principle i agree with him, but i worry that that might imply that the team could try to turn Ben into that old nightmare player called a "pocket-passer". It has historically never worked out when the Steelers(or any team for that matter) try to change the whole style of play for a QB in order to force-fit him into some pre-ordained role. Just look at Favre, Elway, Montana, Romo, McNabb etc to see that mobility in a QB is a good thing as long as he continues to look downfeild and can make all the throws to get the ball to the WRs.<BR/><BR/> I do not want another Kordell Stewart Syndrome in Ben, where he's afraid to roll out and tries to force throws from the pocket when he's not comfortable with it.
